Salt Lake City Mentorship || Utah Wedding Photographers

We were so excited when Baylie (Baylie Ranae Photography) reached out to us about setting up a mentorship session!  After chatting with her via email & over the phone a few months ago, we decided together on a style & direction that we felt like would help to build her brand & attract her ideal client, and started to plan the shoot.  We asked Braden & Alynn Young if they would model for us (because they are total babes & are effortlessly stylish AF) and set up a day to meet in the canyon, when the spring greens were just starting to show up.  We asked them to keep outfits clean & simple!

We met up with Baylie for coffee before driving up the canyon to shoot.  We talked a lot about the issues & obstacles that face us all in the wedding industry, and how we can sometimes be our own worst enemies & biggest critics.   We talked about shooting & editing with intention, and how DEFINING OUR BRAND is what gives us that direction & intention needed while shooting & editing to create a consistent brand.  We decided on some definitive words for the days shoot, like "Lifestyle, Romantic, Emotional, and Energetic" and tried to use those words to guide & direct the shoot.

We're super happy with how the images turned out!  Take a scroll and let us know what you think. If you're interested in learning more about our mentorship opportunities, click here
